Bachelor Season Premiere: Who Got Chris Soules' First Impression Rose?

“Love is a lot like farming,” mused Chris Soules on Monday’s Bachelor season premiere, a metaphor that can also be applied to the episode itself, which was basically a three-hour parade of clucking, weeding and — at one lady’s polite behest — plowing.

Soules may have bestowed his “first impression” rose upon 27-year-old waitress Britt — of course he’d pick the normal girl, right? — but we at TVLine have curated a list of ladies who made pretty strong first impressions on us. Let’s begin:

* Amanda, the 24-year-old ballet instructor with eyes that can pierce into your very soul — and not in a sexy way. »

Sleepy Hollow Recap: Winging It

Sleepy Hollow must’ve read a few too many women’s magazines as of late, because this week’s episode really takes the New Year: New You! theme to heart.

Repeatedly, resoundingly, unrelentingly to heart. And while we can probably go a while without hearing Abbie draw parallels between trendy fruit and her journey as a Witness, the hour’s last few moments — where Irving resurfaces as one of the living! (or, at least, not one of the dead) — made up for some of the episode’s flaws.

Let’s review what happens in “Paradise Lost.”

Celebrity Apprentice Recap: Food Fights

Another two bite the dust!

The Celebrity Apprentice settled into its regular time slot Monday (8/7c), bidding a harsh farewell to a pair of beloved(ish) celebs.

In the first hour, Teams Vortex and Infinity were charged with producing commercials for Neat, a de-cluttering software company — which couldn’t have been more ironic, considering how quickly the competition became a total mess.

But let’s start with the good: The ladies, with Kate Gosselin as their fearless project manager, churned out a solid-if-slightly-limited ad, netting $40K for Gosselin’s charity, Camp Barnabas. (Side note: Is anyone else disappointed that Gosselin »

Gotham Recap: Bats in the Belfry

This week on Fox’s Gotham, ‎demoted Jim Gordon found himself investigating a murder within the dreary Arkham Asylum, Penguin’s hubris landed him behind bars and Barbara got dealt a “toxic” blow.

Cutting to the chase: This was not a particularly good episode, all the more disappointing since it heralded the start of the back half of the season. I was, frankly, bored.

In the weeks since I first screened “Rogues’ Gallery,” I’ve mulled why this fell so short, rivaling “Selina” (aka the one with the ‘nappers of kids) as the most lackluster episode to date. And what »

Pam Anderson is coming to Glee this season — but there’s a catch!

It turns out “Pam Anderson” is actually the name of Blaine’s mother, played by House of Versace star Gina Gershon, TVLine has confirmed. Spoiler-y set photos — including the above shot of Gershon with Darren Criss — have been floating around the internet for a bit.

Apprentice's Keshia Knight Pulliam: 'No Regrets' About Not Calling Bill Cosby

The already-scandalous Celebrity Apprentice got even more controversial in Sunday’s season premiere with the utterance of two words: Bill. Cosby.

Keshia Knight Pulliam — best remembered as Cosby’s pint-sized Cosby Show co-star Rudy Huxtable — was the first to be fired, presumably because she openly chose not to solicit funds from her former TV dad; a Cosby-sized donation could have saved the women’s team from losing the challenge.

TVLine caught up with Pulliam at Trump Tower in New York for her thoughts on that decision, her firing and how she views her overall experience on the show. (Spoiler »

New Girl Video: The Roomies Have a Tiny Problem With Winston's Partner

Guest star Nasim Pedrad (MulaneySaturday Night Live) plays Winston’s diminutive-yet-deadly mentor, and — as you’ll see in the exclusive sneak peek below — she shuts down Nick and Coach’s concerns rather effectively around the 1:05 mark.

Meanwhile, Shaw slipped out of the Finchcave, even though her cover has been blown and she is again visible to Samaritan’s eyes.
