Fry, who is 57, and 27-year-old partner Elliott Spencer gave formal notice of their plans to wed at the register office in Dereham, eastern England. Fry's office says no date has been set. Fry tweeted Tuesday to his 8 million followers: "I'm very, very happy of course but had hoped for a private wedding. Fat chance."
