Having an STD can make you more likely to get HIV.

  • If you have an STD, make sure you get tested for HIV.
  • If you have an STD and are also HIV-infected, you will be more likely to spread HIV to your sex partner(s).
  • There are many steps you can take to reduce your risk of STD and HIV. Find one (or more) that will work for you.
