Leveraging Diversity

CDC is committed to fostering an environment that supports fairness, equity and inclusion. Therefore, it is import for the organization to leverage diversity by strategically capitalizing on the variant knowledge, skills, abilities, talents, perspectives, experiences, working styles, etc. of a diverse workforce and empowering of all employees to use their human differences (physical, social, cultural, cognitive, philosophical) to produce better outcomes in furtherance of the organization’s mission (process-oriented).

Through proactively promoting diversity, CDC highlights the ways in which the Federal government has overcome the effect of systematic intuitional forms of exclusion and discrimination through the promotion of diversity and equal employment opportunities.
