Parents Television Council Blasts FX and Sons of Anarchy for Graphic Nudity

The Parents Television Council is denouncing FX for airing what they call "the most sexually explicit content the PTC has ever documented on basic cable."

The Nov. 11 episode of the notoriously graphic and violent Sons of Anarchy, which is in its final season and follows the dangerous exploits of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, opened with several couples having sex as they worked through the shared grief from losing a beloved friend and mentor in the previous week's episode.

Another Woman Claims to Have Been Sexually Abused by Bill Cosby

Another woman has come forward with claims that she was sexually abused by Bill Cosby.

On Sunday, publicist Joan Tarshis wrote an essay for Hollywood Elsewhere detailing the two times she says she was raped in 1969. At the time, Tarshis was staying with two women who were friends with Cosby. After their first meeting over lunch, Tarshis says she was invited to visit Cosby on set.

"One day he asked me to stay after the shooting and work on some material with him," she says. "I was even more flattered and thought this would help move my writing career along...

Supernatural Has a Queerbaiting Problem That Needs to Stop

Although last Tuesday's 200th episode of Supernatural was an enjoyable 44 minutes, it also put the final nail in the coffin of the great queerbaiting debate. For those unfamiliar with the term, queerbaiting is when a show's producers tease a queer relationship with no intention of ever following through. This is often done to get the benefits of featuring queer relationship — namely, to gain support of the Lgbtq community and profit off their viewership — without having to worry about alienating viewers who would find such relationships objectionable.

Ask Matt: Murder, Parenthood and Finales, Longmire, Big Bang, Supernatural's 200th, NCIS

Send questions and comments to askmatt@tvguidemagazine.com and follow me on Twitter!

Question: Thanks for being the voice of reason in the sometimes crazy cluttered world of TV. You're the only person I trust to tell me if I'm overreacting. Because I'm starting to think Shonda Rhimes is getting away with murder. I have been watching her newest "Tgit" hit How To Get Away With Murder, and I realized the other day that it's always sitting in my DVR waiting for me. That's usually the first sign for me that something is not right. I feel like I should love the show. ...

He scared the bejeesus out of Americans with his nuclear-war cry, "We will bury you!" But when Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev visited the United States in 1959 he was much more of a pussycat than an evil Commie dictator.

Going Homeland (NBC Wishes) with State of Affairs

It's a good thing Showtime's Homeland has regained a good deal of its suspenseful mojo this season — Sunday's episode involving a captured Saul (Mandy Patinkin) on the run from the Taliban was especially harrowing — because otherwise it would have a lot to answer for, having seemingly inspired NBC's disappointingly derivative State of Affairs, a clumsy and unconvincing star vehicle for a miscast Katherine Heigl (premiering Monday at 10/9c).

A group of artists including Rita OraOne Direction and Ed Sheeran have re-recorded "Do They Know It's Christmas?" to raise money for Ebola.

The original song, which was recorded by the charity super group "Band Aid" in 1984, was written by Bob Geldoff and Midge Ure to raise money for anti-poverty efforts in Ethiopia. The single, which sold over two million copies and raised more than $24 million, featured U2, Phil Collins, Sting, David Bowie and more. (Watch the original video here.) The song has since been redone in 1989, under Band Aid II, and in 2004 under "Band Aid 20." Neither reincarnation matched the original in both sound and success.

Australian News Anchor Wears Same Suit for a Year And No One Notices — See Why He Did It

An Australian news anchor has worn the same suit for a year to make a point about sexism.
