Eddie Stuckey
Edward Earl "Bill" Stuckey, born July 22nd, 1914 (1) in Arkansas (2) was a Negro league baseball player. Stuckey played with the Purity All-Stars, Gurdon Panthers and Norfolk Royals (3).Biography
Stuckey was the son of Lula Murl Stuckey. He married Genella Clark on March 24th, 1935 (4). During World War II, he was a Technician Fifth Grade in the US Army (1). He spent 18 months overseas before returning to his home in Gurdon, AR (5).
In late 1947, Stuckey signed a contract to play with the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro American League (6). However, it's not clear whether Stuckey ever played with the Clowns.
In 1949, Stuckey managed the Gurdon Panthers. Stuckey died December 5th, 1991 (1).
