Otis Brazell

Image Otis Brazell , born December 3rd, 1884 in Arkansas, was a professional baseball player from 1902-1912.

Biography

Brazell likely began his baseball career with a semi-pro team in Hope, AR in 1901 (1). Otis' brother Earl also played on the team.

Brazell's minor league career began in 1902 with Texarkana (2). He briefly played with Texarkana again in 1906 (3)(4) and played one game with the Little Rock Travelers on September 1st (5)(6).

Brazell played with the Monroe Municipals From 1907-1908, with the Charlotte Hornets from 1908-1909 and the Wilmington Chicks from 1911-1912.

While with Wilmington, Brazell pitched a no-hitter against the Johnston Johnnies on August 14th, 1911 (8).

Brazell died on December 17th, 1952 in San Mateo, CA.
