Reference and Documentation Centre

Interested in fulfilling their duties to promote and advance the study of human rights, the Human Rights Commission of the Federal District (CDHDF), through its Center of Consultation and Documentation, available to any and all interested in the subject of human rights institutional heritage to contribute to the creation of a culture of respect for human rights of those who live and journeyed to Mexico City.

The Consultation and Documentation Center is the area that concentrates a large CDHDF bibliographic, documentary, newspaper and visual specializing in human rights issues, which provides students, Researchers, profesoras, teachers and the general public. This center has suitable spaces for girls, children, young people and adults, as well as areas for public consultation of its material, contributing to approach, knowledge, study, reflection and research on human rights. The collection of the Centre consists of specialized publications and materials on civil and political rights; economic, social, cultural and environmental; discrimination; gender and reproductive rights; justice; seguridad pública; State prison system and political institutions, among other topics.

The acquis is constantly updating, which is enriched by inter-relationship with academic institutions, public and private publishers, government agencies, civil society and human rights organizations. This catalog is automated, which allows performing searches by subject, title and author. In this manner, it can consult books, documents (conferences and seminars), audiovisual materials, teaching materials and braille.

and) Interlibrary Loan

f) Loan photocopying room outside official leaving date identification

g) Guidance on telephone electronics

All services are free to the public and are offered.

This center is located in Av. University 1449, Building B, with. Florida, people Axotla, of. Alvaro Obregón, 01030 Mexico, D. F. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a 18:00 hours.
