Walter Thomas
Walter Lewis Thomas was a Negro League baseball player from 1937-1947 and a professional baseball player in 1948. He died on February 9th, 1991 in Garland, Miller County, AR.Biography
In the Negro Leaguers, Thomas played for the for the St. Louis Stars, Detroit Stars, Memphis Red Sox, Chicago American Giants and the Birmingham Black Barons. He was also given a brief stint with the 1948 Wilkes-Barre Indians of the class A Eastern League.
Thomas died on February 9th, 1991 in Garland, Miller County, AR.
