Do it yourself.

You can make the switch to iPhone yourself in a few simple steps. These tips will help guide you through transferring the data from your old phone to your iPhone. And don’t worry — if you have questions, Apple Support is standing by to help you along the way.

Set up your iPhone.

When you set up your iPhone for the first time, you can use your existing email account. iOS supports the most popular email accounts, including Google, Exchange, and Yahoo. Then, when setting up Mail, you can choose to include any contacts, calendars, or notes associated with that account.

Transfer content with a migration app.

Apps such as Copy My Data transfer your contacts, calendars, photos, and videos over Wi-Fi, so you won’t need to connect your phone to a computer. Just download the app on both phones and follow the onscreen instructions. You can download the iPhone app from the App Store and the Android app from Google Play.

Sync your music, books, and more with iTunes.

You can move your content from your old phone into iTunes on your Mac or PC. When you connect your new iPhone to your computer, iTunes will sync it for you. And with iTunes, you’ll have access to millions of songs, books, and more.
