We've listened to your feedback and replaced the robotic voice with a real human recorded voice.
Luckily the English guy who painstakingly recorded all the words was prepared to work for tea, so we only require a modest sum in order to fund his Earl Grey habit.

Good but can be better
Ok. The app is great. It does its job. I would have liked to see more sentence examples under the usage to see different variety of how the words can be used. I can look up the words on line or in many dictionary apps so just showing the synonyms of a word doesn't separate this app from hundreds of app in the market. I also wish there would be a daily pop up on the screen for words so if I forget to go through the app, at lease that'd be a reminder. I like the visual and I would like to see different screens for different levels.
great potential
I like the app ok, and the words are great, I'm just disappointed by the audio. First they had a robotic voice that mispronounced words, now they have a human voice , but it was recorded at such low volume that it is unintelligible unless you turn your phone volume to max, and even then it can barely be heard (example: the word "repose" sounds like "..pose"). The new voice also whistles on all "s" sounds due to low fidelity . really poor quality
so while the app has a lot of promise, it still won't get 5 stars from me until the audio is perfected . time to normalize those audio files , boys
Easy to use!
I am glad I found this application and upgrated it for only 99 cents. The voice is more pleasant to my ears than the previous mechanical voice. I just wish we could have more choice: a few different voices. The application is very easy to use. The design is beautiful. I know it will help me to build my vocabulary faster. Thanks.
