Part of the food court in Gurgaon's DTMega Mall, Cafe Simbly South has the widest selection of South Indian food in the area. From Paroothas from God's Own Country to Andhra Fish Curry, it's all there. Other items on the menu include Pepper Chicken Chettinad, Chicken 65, Kozi Varwal, Veg Stew and Vegetable Nilgiri Korma. It's South Indian fare, zara hat ke, which makes it interesting. For those with a sweet tooth, there's Seviyan Payasam Basundi, a South Indian variation of Rabri. Visit it, simbly

The whole indigenous Cafe Coffee Day was born in Bangalore, and it now has even a few international branches, most famously in Vienna! Closer home, it is among those joints that can keep people hooked for hours. Gen X forgets time at CCD. Its young customers consider that it is the best of all the coffee bars, perhaps due to its house journal, jukebox and other innovations. It offers international coffees like Kapi Nirvanas, Ethiopian Qahwah, Cafe Frappe, Devil's Own, Vegan Shake and Tropical Iceberg. It even has non-dairy milk and sugarfree coffees. Choco Brownie and Mocha Muffin may be recommended. The Khan Market outlet is perhaps the smartest, great for people-watching. It allows table-top brewing. And yes, the coffee is good and relaxing, though its music needs lowering of its decibel level.
