Q. When should I apply?
The priority application date is March 1 for Fall admission. For Spring admission, the priority date is October 30, and for Summer admissions, the filing date is April 30. However, applications are reviewed throughout the year and will be considered up to four weeks prior to the registration period.

Q. How much is the application fee?
The application fee for freshmen, transfer, and graduate admissions is $25, which is non-refundable. The application fee for international students is $35, which is non-refundable.

Q. Does the university accept fee waivers?
Tuskegee University does not accept fee waivers.

Q. What are the requirements for freshmen admissions? For transfer admissions? For international admissions?
Candidates for freshmen admissions must submit:

Completed application and a $25 non-refundable application fee
Official high school transcript(s)
Official ACT or SAT scores
minimum 3.0 GPA
21 ACT
1000 SAT

Candidates for transfer admissions must submit:

Completed application and a $25 non-refundable application fee
Official ACT or SAT scores
Official transcript(s) from all colleges attended
2.0 GPA
Completion of 12 credit hours

International applicants must submit:

Completed International Student Application and a $35 non-refundable application fee
Official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 500 (paper based) or 173 (computer based)
An official WES translated transcript(s)
Affidavit of Support
Completion of additional requirements and procedures indicated on the International Student Application

Q. Does Tuskegee University provide transportation to students who do not have a car?
Yes. The university offers shuttle service for students to the surrounding areas, and is available to outside transportation services to and from area airports.

Q. Are students allowed to have vehicles on campus?
Tuskegee University students are allowed to bring their cars on campus. Decals are required and can be purchased through the University Police Department for that academic year for a fee. Students must park their car in the designated Student Parking areas.

Q. Does Tuskegee University accommodate students with disabilities?
Yes, Tuskegee has reasonable accommodations and services which may include buildings which are handicapped accessible. Services may include extra time for exams, special seating arrangements, a class note taker, extended time for papers/projects, frequent one-on-one conferences, and/or alternate format materials (i.e. taped recorded classes, taped texts, etc.) Accommodations and services are designed to meet each individual needs.
