She has had many plastic surgeries, some of them illegal and is now suffering for it. I haven't seen her in a long time but knowing her she will continue enjoying her life. She was always fun and interesting in addition to being very smart. I wish her well.

I took a walk today with a good friend. We climbed up a steep hill in the neighborhood I felt revitalized. Because I have been slacking off on workouts. I had cereal with ff milk for breakfast and a veggie sandwich for lunch. I think I might have a veggie burger for lunch. Well I hope everyone has a great weekend.View Thread

welcome aboard setting a 60 pound goal may bite you in the behind It is better to set smaller goals like 5 or 10 pounds
easier to do that and besides loseing weight isn;'t the right goal anyway you should look for ways to improve your nutrition while paying attention to serving sizes and make this a life style change you can live with for life that way maintaining the reduction in weight is easier to do . because eyou eating habits got you over weight to start with it is better to create new healthier habits

Nancy there will always be people who don't want you or anyone to change. They want everything to stay the same. They haven't learned that life isn't like that - it's constantly changing in one way or another. Some of us have made and are making drastic changes in our lives for the better.
I've been off blood pressure meds for just over a year now due to my weight loss. My diabetes is in very good control. Fasting bs this morning was 70. Last A1c was 5.6. I quit taking the cholesterol meds again as they were causing major constipation and sleeplessness. I need to be able to go to the bathroom and sleep! My doctor isn't going to be happy with me but tough. I can't live my life like that. I'm down to four regular medications and one on an as needed basis.

This actually turned out to be a great informative article.
Lunch is a frozen dinner.
Dinner I'm going to make fajitas. I had a church activity last night - and there were cookies and a very large veggie tray. There were a TON of veggies left over, so I got an entire plate full of peppers (red, yellow, and green) so I'm making fajitas. Yay! I used my own seasoning mix - so it's salt free too.View Thread

As for Colorado Kim I live here all my life. It's been really rainy and overall cold. I've been to the south n in no way is our lil but if humidity like that of you'rn. Typically we are very dry n this just happens to be a very weird year as is across the country I guess

lunch 2 c lettuce, 1/2 c tomatoes, carrots, 2 tbsp dressing, activia peach
Dinner not sure won't be home until real late.

Got my son his birthday and Christmas presents a few months early. His phone had pretty much died so I got him a new Samsung Galaxy Sport. He's very happy. Well he'd better be, huh?
Yesterday I ended up having two jalapeno doubles and two side salads with balsamic from McDonald's. This was all day except for some nuts and trail mix. Anyway something didn't agree with me and it's taken until about an hour ago to feel half way decent. After phone shopping I went to the grocery store and got a chicken salad sandwich, some olives and some fruit - pineapple and watermelon. I got some sugar snap peas too and some diet blueberry green tea. No more Brisk mango tea. I feel good about that decision. I'll stop at the store in the morning for my work foods.
I think I'm ready for a little nap now. I need to get my supplements together but I can do that later.
