MENUS

MAIN MENU with 3-bar icon in the upper right corner of every screen is the primary navigation. Tapping on MAIN MENU will open a listing of top level categories. Each of those categories has its own sub-menu which can be accessed by tapping on the title or + (plus) sign.

Selections that take you to a page that is not within our system (such as Travel and Careers) will generate a message explaining that you're leaving m.state.gov.

The boxed 3-bar icon in the upper left corner indicates that sub-sections are available by tapping on that category's Title.

>> SHOW PATH in the upper left corner can be tapped on some pages to reveal where the current collection resides on the site.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Access to the State Department's official blog, Twitter account, Facebook page, and Flickr page is provided in the bottom right corner.

VIDEO LIVE STREAMS

We're working to make all of the Department's live streams available via m.state.gov in the near future. In the mean time, live streams can be viewed on the full www.state.gov site or after the event on m.state.gov.

The app is the official State Department app for U.S. travelers. The app invites you to see the world with easy access to frequently updated official country information, travel alerts, travel warnings, maps, U.S. embassy locations, and more.
