‘See No Evil 2′ DVD Review

WWE Studios have some success and some failure with their releases but with See No Evil the reception was definitely mixed. One of their earliest movies it used Glen “Kane” Jacobs in the role of the psychotic killer Jacob Goodnight and I will admit to liking it, it had its flaws but it was fun a fun horror with plenty of gore. When the See No Evil 2 was announced it caught the attention of horror fans with the Soska Sisters were taking the reigns as directors and bringing scream queens Danielle Harris and Katharine Isabelle with them as part of the cast.

‘Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion’ to air in UK with extra scene

The critically-acclaimed epic adventure Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion, which delivered 6.5-million viewers in its premieres on Disney Channel and Disney Xd around the world , will air on Sky1 this coming Monday with an Extra scene not seen in the recent DVD release. Executive Producer Dave Filoni states:
We wanted to do something special. We’ve added a scene which gives audiences insight into the Inquisitor and includes a cameo by Darth Vader voiced by the distinguished actor James Earl Jones.

Everyone’s favourite zombie comic book based TV series is back and starts when we left off at season 4, with Rick and company locked inside a railcar. Before long they’re dragged out into a warehouse where two Terminus workers are butchering a body for meat, revealing the cannibalistic nature of the residents. As the workers begin executing the prisoners, Gareth, the leader, questions Rick about the bag he hid in the woods and threatens Bob until he gets what he wants. Soon after though, a huge explosion and some gunfire goes off, giving Rick the chance he needs to start his escape.

‘Fury’ Review

After End of Watch and now Fury writer/director David Ayer has shown a knack for depicting the bond that forms between people when they face death on an endless basis. Fury falls in line with similar World War II films, like Saving Private Ryan, that do not shy away from the inhuman brutality of war. Fury will fully engage audiences with its intense battle sequences and solid performances, but what it lacks is a consistent thematic message. The weight it builds becomes cheapen as it enters into an over simplification of the glory of war.

The modern British gangster movies are strange beasts, and I admit I do have a weakness for them. With acting that is often questionable and stories that tend to be on the sillier side of crime thrillers they have a charm that can even survive a Danny Dyer starring role (that was a joke, don’t bite my head off). The Smoke, to be fair, only takes a gentle stroll into the British gangster movie style, though it does feature some actors that you’ve seen in them before, and more bizarrely more than its fair share of soap stars too.

For the last couple of years, American Horror Story has been one of the most frequently recommended TV shows from my friends, and like most TV trends I blissfully ignored it so I can sink yet more time into Civilisation V and nuking Ghandi because, well, it’s Ghandi. Eventually though it got enough of my attention through the power of the internet and I decided to give this season a try.

Interview: Catherine Annette, star of Fred Olen Ray’s ‘After Midnight’

Screen siren Tawny Kitaen returns to our screens on the hunt for a killer in After Midnight, the latest film from renowned filmmaker Fred Olen Ray (the man behind one of my favourite horror B-movies, Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers). When an exotic dancer is murdered at a seedy strip club, her sister Constance (Catherine Annette – Silent But Deadly), a TV newscaster, goes undercover to find the killer. While working at the club, she quickly realizes that everyone is a suspect and that other dancers are being targeted. She must work fast to find the killer to seek her revenge before she becomes the next target.
