The Australian Psychological Society (APS) Website is best viewed with the following:
Some sections of the website are only available to APS Members. When you access a member only section you will be prompted to login. Your login is your six-digit membership number (User ID) and password.
You can login from any page on the website by clicking the 'Login' button at the top right of the website.
Some secure areas of the website are available to non-APS members (such as access to APS eLearning). When you access a secure area you will be prompted to login. Your login is your six-digit User ID and password.
You can login from any page on the website by clicking the 'Login' button at the top right of the website.
This is your six-digit APS membership number. Every number begins with a 0, 1 or 2. If you have been issued with a five-digit number, you have to add a 0 at the front. Please contact the APS National Office if you have any queries regarding this.
Unless you have changed it, your password will automatically be your surname.
Please note: the password is case sensitive:
- e.g. Smith has a capital 'S', not smith.
- If you have a hyphenated surname such as Smith-Milano, and you have not changed your password, then both the 'S' and the 'M' have to be capitals, and the hyphen [-] also has to be included.
- If you have a space in you surname, such as 'Da Costa', then the space also needs to be included as part of the password.
APS recommends that you change your password, to do this:
