U2 has always been about messages.

Fans have been asking for a sequel to Lionsgate’s Dredd for some time, with Rebellion — publishers of 2000AD, the comic in which Judge Dredd first appeared — even throwing its support behind an online petition demanding a sequel’s production. Now, the campaign for Dredd 2 has reached desperate new heights: A musical plea to producers.

The Voice judges Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton participated in Jimmy Fallon's popular lip-sync battle last night, and they gave former all-star Emma Stone a run for her money in the fan-favorite department.

Just before the plug was pulled on Fox's X Factor in February, boyfriend-girlfriend duo Alex & Sierra made history as the only group to win the U.S. version of the singing competition.

Kanye West may want to think twice the next time he forces everyone at his shows to get on their feet. 

The notoriously prickly rapper performed a concert at Qantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney on Friday and halted the show because two fans weren't standing up. One of the fans was in a wheelchair, and one had a prosthetic limb, but West didn't appear to believe this.

Joe Sample, a jazz pianist who had a successful solo career and also performed with numerous high-profile musicians, died on Friday in Houston. He was 75.

The news was announced on Sample's Facebook page, although the cause of death was not mentioned. Variety had previously reported the news.
