Sir Richard Attenborough (Jackie Knowles) directed Sir Dirk Bogarde (Alfie Rawlins) in Oh! What a Lovely War (1969) and A Bridge Too Far (1977).

Three of the actors appeared in "The Blue Lamp" (1950), where Sir Dirk Bogarde killed Jack Warner, and was caught by Jimmy Hanley.
