“Scandal’s” Joe Morton got the nod for guest actor in a drama series at Saturday’s Creative Arts Awards, while Allison Janney won guest actress in a drama for Showtime’s “Masters of Sex.”
Morton walked away a winner for his first-ever Emmy nom. Janney is a double nominee this year, also for her costarring role on the CBS comedy “Mom.”
Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black” got off to a good start, winning the first award of the night, for casting in a comedy series.
Fox’s “Bob’s Burgers” won for animation program.
Jennifer Euston won the casting award for “Oitnb.” Casting for a drama series went to HBO’s “True Detective” (Alexa L. Fogel, Christine Kromer, Meagan Lewis); FX’s “Fargo” won casting for miniseries (Rachel Tenner, Jackie Lind).
