The APS is on Twitter, an Internet-based social media platform that allows people to send short messages.

How is the APS using Twitter?

The APS News Twitter Feed is managed by the APS Communications Team and is an outlet for the distribution of news from the APS, including media releases, new publications, submissions, events of interest to the media and general public.

Availability

The Communications Team will update and monitor the account Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.15 pm AEST.

Following

The APS_Media Twitter Feed will follow relevant news outlets, journalists, publications and relevant industry organisations and Government departments.

Will you respond to my messages?

The Communications Team will read all messages and @replies.  We welcome feedback and we hope to be able to tailor our content to the news needs of our followers.

Where possible, we will respond to messages but we will be unable to respond to every message individually. Specific messages relating to APS policy and procedures will be directed to the relevant people within the APS.
