Auto-completion in drop-down fields
All drop-down fields support an auto completion. The selection is automatically limited to matching entries with every letter being typed in.
Especially, when using long lists (e.g. countries, vessels) you will be able to quickly select your desired entry.
The available drop-down entries automatically adjust to the user´s input.
Context menu in Online Business tables
In the Online Business section data tables support a context menu for further actions. In general, table actions can be performed by selecting a row first and clicking the appropriate button below the table afterwards. Every action can also be perfomed by using the context menu.
Use the right mouse button to open the context menu and select a menu entry.
This is especially convenient for tables with many entries where the below button bar is out of sight.
The same functions as in the button bar below the table are also available via the context menu using the right mouse button.
Using browser favorites
Every single page can be bookmarked as browser favorite. Included are all Online Business services.
Simply use the standard browser functionality to define and manage your individual favorites.
In the Internet Explorer you can define a browser favorite over the menu item "Favorites".
Online Business Start Page
Once defined you are led to your Online Business Start Page after login on the homepage. Especially for frequent users it is quite beneficial that the favorite Online Business page is only one click away. Per default, you will get to the Online Business Overview Page after login on the homepage.
As registered Online Business user you are enabled to define almost any page within the Online Business as your individual Start Page. Just click on the yellow star next to the headline to make this page your new Start Page. You will get a new menu item "Start Page" under "Online Business".
Every time you want to redefine your Start Page just browse to your favorite page and click on the yellow star. If you want to reset you selection to the Online Business Overview Page just go there and click on the star.
Technical information: This function requires enabled browser cookies which are locally stored on your PC. Therefore, your Start Page is tied to a specific PC.
Make the current page your Online Business Start Page by clicking the yellow star.
Website Zoom
The whole website is scalable by zooming in and out. Use the zoom for a convenient display, e.g. to enlarge the font size for better reading.
In several browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox) you can use Ctrl key + mouse wheel to zoom.
User List
The User List in the Online Business->My Account section shows all users (besides your own) for your organisation who are registered for the Hapag-Lloyd Online Business. All those users have access to the same data (besides My Account and Schedule Subscription). Please select a user and click on "No longer with my company" if that user should not have access to the bookings which you have with Hapag.Lloyd.
