What is Statistics in Schools?

The Census Bureau is excited to announce the launch of our Statistics in Schools program! Building on the success of the 2010 Census in Schools program, Statistics in Schools will leverage relevant real-life data to provide resources for teaching and learning about statistics.

This site represents a sample of what is to come. In the summer of 2013, the site will re-launch with a new look and expanded content including standards aligned activities that are ready for use in the classroom, maps, data tutorials, statistical videos and more. Explore our current website to see some examples and to learn about the importance of census data and how it can help you learn about your world.
