Features on dwellr:

Technical Information
Geographic Categories:
The app uses the following categories. These are used to help obtain selections within dwellr and are not official Census Bureau classifications.
Big City: Any incorporated place or census designated place with a population of 500,000 or more. This category also includes places with a population of 350,000 or more that are within an urbanized area with a population of 1,000,000 or more.
Mid-Size City: Any place with a population of at least 100,000 and less than 500,000 and also a principal city of a metro area. This category may also include places that are not principal cities of metro areas in cases where all places within an urban area would otherwise be classified as suburb.
Small City: Any place with population of at least 40,000 and less than 100,000 and also a principal city of a metro area. This category includes Maricopa, AZ, and may also include places that are not principal cities of metro areas in cases where all places within an urban area would otherwise be classified as suburb.
Suburb: any place partially or entirely within an urbanized area and not classified as a big city, mid-size city, or small city.
Small Town or Rural: any remaining place not identified as any of the four categories above and having a population of at least 5,000 and less than 40,000.
Unrounded data are used to compute all derived values. However, for readability, percentages are rounded to the nearest whole percent. In some cases, zero percent may indicate a percentage less than .5 percent.
