Horror Story: Freak Show: Watch the Angelic/Devilish First Teaser

The first brief teaser for American Horror Story: Freak Show isn’t clowning around.

As previously announced, the fourth chapter in FX’s anthology series is set in Jupiter, Fla. circa 1950. Jessica Lange, an Emmy winner for her Season 1 turn as Constance Langdon, this time will portray a German ex-pat who runs one of the last remaining freak shows in the country.

Lange’s troupe of performers includes previous Ahs players Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson (as conjoined twins Bette and Dot), Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and Frances Conroy. Among the newcomers, Michael Chiklis will be playing a strongman who’s »

Katherine Heigl on the State of Her Reputation: 'I Don't See Myself as Being Difficult'

Katherine Heigl says it never has been — nor is it — her intention to be a difficult actress to work with, despite years’ worth of rumors that have dogged her since she famously parted ways with Grey’s Anatomy.

Asked to account for if not defend her reputation, Heigl said Sunday at the Television Critics Assoc. summer press tour, “I certainly don’t see myself as being difficult. I would never intend to be difficult…. I think it’s important for everyone to conduct themselves professionally and kindly. If I ever disappointed somebody, it was never intentional.”

Loosely based on Journey to the West, a Chinese novel from the 16th century, Badlands follows a warrior and a boy who team up for an adventure “across a dangerous land to find enlightenment.”

Set to premiere in late 2015 or early 2016, Badlands was created by showrunners/writers Al Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville), both of whom will executive-produce.
