Grinter Place State Historic Site offers the ideal setting for meetings, events, and parties. The visitor center is located in the adjoining Grinter Place Friends barn. Conveniently located in Wyandotte County at 78th Street and K-32, Grinter Place State Historic Site is just minutes from the Kansas Speedway, downtown, and many fine hotels.
The large barn owned by the friends group provides a spacious area for a meeting, dance, or family celebration. Plenty of off street parking makes this one of the best places in Wyandotte County for your next event. Contact the site administrator for more information.
Whether you are striving for a homespun event, upbeat reception, or professional meeting space, the visitor center can accommodate your needs. Many services such as tables, seating, and a full-service kitchen are included. The beautiful, lush setting overlooking the Kansas River provides for plenty of parking on the premises.
Contact the Grinter Place Friends at 913-334-2500 before completing and mailing the rental agreement. If the contract is filled out without calling and reserving a time and date, a service fee of $25 may apply.
