NPW 2013

Thank you to everyone who participated in National Psychology Week 2013!

A massive 582 events were held around Australia to celebrate psychology and psychologists during NPW 2013.

Planning now begins for NPW 2014, to be held from 9-15 November 2014.

National Psychology Week (NPW) is an APS initiative that aims to increase public awareness of how psychology can help people and communities lead healthier, happier and more meaningful lives.

Each November, hundreds of Australian psychologists across the country run NPW events such as community festivals, workshops, forums, seminars, presentations, teas, and displays to highlight psychology and its contribution to the Australian community. To find an event which is happening near you, search our handy map.

The APS also conducts an annual national survey to highlight stress and wellbeing in Australia. This comprehensive survey aims to measure the levels of stress and wellbeing, including workplace wellbeing, across the adult Australian population.
