I wanted a trimmer for nose, ear and eye lashes and this one does all 3 jobs well. If you want to buy only for trimming nose then there are other trimmers which may be suited better but since I wanted to trim all 3 of the above hence it does the job quite well. It is battery operated and is waterproof so very easy to clean.

1. Trims Nose, ear and eye lashes
2. Easy to clean

Cons:
1. Battery operated i.e. you need to put an AA battery in it. However there is one battery provided in the packet and mine is still running since 4 months.
2. If you want specifically to trim nose then this may not be the best choice.

Overall a good product.

The Philips NT9110/30 Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer was purchased on merits of general reviews and have found its performance adequate. I was using another one which stopped operation may be because the motor conked out. I was looking for replacement and turned to Amazone and found this one to serve my purpose. The price could have been a little lower for my liking but eventhough several ones were available at half the price I trusted Philips more. I have not used the gadget long enough to report its performance over a resonable long period to judge it better on a long run. Hope 2 year warranty will stand in good stead.

the trimmer is well balanced and easy to use. The projected blades have to be moved gently across the skin and have to be in contact with the area where hair is to be removed, which you have to get used to, as the blade are is very less. But when used correctly does a good job . Nose hair is easier. Removing hair from the ear surface requires practised as the ear shape is convoluted and the blades have to correctly contact the hair to be removed.
Does the job better than other designs which have a rotating blade

Its a very good product. Had the same one earlier which conked out after 6 years. A good durable product from Philips.
