I am really picky about my keyboard, mouse and mouse-pad. These are the components we use most to interact with our systems, and I demand the absolute best here :)
About the mouse-pad:
Its the medium sized one. I have a large-ish desk so it suits me. This pad will not fit small pull out trays for mouse most computer tables have. So check the dimension of your desk. If it is small, buy the smaller (Omega I think) version.
This is the speed version. Smooth as glass. I use this one with my G-300 mouse, for general use, like office work, surfing, excel, VMware, outlook etc. I feel the mouse/mousepad combination feels my thoughts. Its that smooth.
I do not game very much, but when I do I use the control version with my Logitech MX518. I think this pad will fare no less than the control version in gaming, rather it should be better in FPS titles because its so smooth, but old habits die hard :). If you are a serious gamer, this should be very good for you. But in games where very fine control is required I would use the control version, but that's just me :).
Somebody asked me why spend 900 Rupees for a mouse pad? Is it worth it? Heck, yes!!! I would compare the mouse-pad with the driving seat of my car. You may have a nice car, but its not very enjoyable if your seat is not comfortable :)
I like my instruments to be durable. I have my control mouse-pad for 8 months and they look almost new. This one looks like the same quality, so I am assured, this is going to last me at least a couple years .
So I recommend this product. Razer did a fine job with their mouse-pads. Worth the money.
