Shawnee Indian Mission - Plan your visit

Shawnee Mission, like many other missions, was established as a manual training school attended by boys and girls from Shawnee, Delaware, and other Indian nations from 1839 to 1862. Visit this 12-acre National Historic Landmark and learn the stories of those who lived there.

Admission

  • $5 adults; $1 students; Kansas Historical Foundation members and children five and under admitted free
  • Portions ADA accessible. Please notify us prior to your visit if you or a member of your party requires accommodation for special needs or disabilities.
