What is an RSS feed?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds allow you to receive updates from web sites without having to visit each site to see if there is new content. Using RSS feeds you can now receive the latest headlines from EMBL as soon as they are published. EMBL offers a number of RSS feeds, from its top news to updates in the Conferences and Courses programme.
How do I start using RSS feeds?
To receive RSS feeds you need a news reader. This software checks RSS feeds from all over the world and lets you read any articles that have been added to them. There are many different kinds of news reader, some are accessed via a browser while others are downloadable applications which automatically deliver feeds to your PC or portable device.
We have included links to a few popular ones below. Each works in a slightly different way so please consult their instructions.
