Special events throughout the year
The Kansas Museum of History and many of our state historic sites offer a variety of special events with educational themes. These are often of interest to both children and adults. Some of these events are held during the school year and would be an opportunity for a field trip. Others occur during the summer or on weekends and would make great day trips for families. Held on the grounds of the Kansas Historical Society, yearly in late April, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
