Pawnee Indian Museum - Plan your visit

Discover the story of a Pawnee village that existed in the late 1700s. View the excavated floor of this large Pawnee earth lodge and the rare sacred bundle that hangs above the altar. Learn more about the people of the Pawnee Nation and their stories. A finalist in the 8 Wonders of Kansas History.

  • $5 adults; $1 students; Kansas Historical Foundation members and children five and under admitted free
  • Portions ADA accessible. Please notify us prior to your visit if you or a member of your party requires accommodation for special needs or disabilities.

  • View depressions of earth lodges of the Kitkahahki band who occupied this area in the late 1700s.
