Kansas Historical Society - Offices

The Kansas Historical Society headquarters in Topeka houses offices for the Administration Division, Cultural Resources Division, Museum and Education Division, Research Collections Division, and State Archives Division, as well as the Kansas Historical Foundation.

The complex is located at 6425 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka KS 66614. Offices are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closed state holidays. For more information call 785-272-8681.

Located in northwest Topeka on 80 acres, the complex also includes the Kansas Museum of History, State Archives, and nature trail. The Potawatomi Mission was originally located on these grounds, a spur of the Oregon-California Trail. The Stach School was moved to this complex from Jackson County.
