LakeFinder contains data for more than 4,500 lakes and rivers throughout Minnesota, including lake surveys, lake depth maps, lake water quality data, lake water clarity data, lake notes, and fish consumption advice. We've changed LakeFinder! We're giving you the basic information about the lake and letting you choose the extras. Please note: not every lake in the state has been surveyed or depth sounded; you may not find the lake in which you are interested. Also, it takes several months before the most recent lake surveys are ready to post on the Web site. Those months are needed to analyze the surveys and update the lake database. We update the LakeFinder as soon as new maps and surveys are available. If you do find inconsistencies, please email the Webmaster at webmaster.dnr@state.mn.us.
