Lorenzo Soria, Lilly Liu and Meher Tatna were also re-elected to their respective positions
Theo Kingma was re-elected president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for the 2014-2015 year at the organization's annual election meeting, which was held Tuesday afternoon.
Kingma (pictured above with Miss Golden Globe Sosie Bacon) will continue his presidency, adding to the seven years he's served at the HFPA.
“I'm honored by my colleagues here at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for allowing me the opportunity to once again serve as their president,” said Kingma. “I am very much looking forward to another term, working alongside the membership on our continuous endeavors like the Round Table Series, and presenting yet another spectacular ceremony with Tina and Amy in January!”
As a member of the HFPA for more than 20 years, Kingma served as the executive secretary for two years, and sat on the Board of Directors for four years. Kingma will be joined with Lorenzo Soria, Lilly Liu and Meher Tatna who were also re-elected as vice president, executive secretary and treasurer respectively.
The Board of Directors includes Ali Sar, Anke Hoffmann, Helen Hoehne, Jorge Camara and Yoram Kahana, while Luca Celada will serve as an alternate board member.
The annual HFPA Installation Luncheon to honor the officers and directors will be held later this summer, at which time the organization makes its annual contributions to non-profit organizations and film schools.
