TheGrill Event Producer

TheWrap is looking for a seasoned Event Producer to be responsible for managing and implementing our industry summit event TheGrill, where Hollywood converges with Silicon Valley (http://thegrill.thewrap.com/) held in the fall of 2014.

PURPOSE

The Event Producer serves as the lead on their proposed project scope, schedule, budget, and execution of event logistics.  This person should be an experienced manager, with a keen eye for detail, quality management, production experience, time management and multiple team coordination.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· General coordination and production management of the Conference

· Full P&L responsibility from establishing budget through to managing costs against revenue earned.

· Select venue and negotiate venue contract

· Select and negotiate contracts for all vendors and personnel hired for the production of the Conference. All vendors and personnel shall be approved, contracted, and paid directly by The Wrap

· Sales and Marketing strategy to help increase ticket sales in conjunction with The Wrap

· Speaker management, coordination and support (pre show and during conference)

· Sponsor management and support (ensure that sponsors receive all benefits as per contracts)

· Production management and on site event management, including oversight of a/v, food and beverage, décor, event production staff

· Provide final cost report

REQUIREMENTS

 Experience of proven, hands-on event planning and logistics management,

 Independent meeting planner with agency experience preferred, CMP or CMM designation a plus

 Experience working on high-profile global events and/or clients
