The Eagles Have Hatched!

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is broadcasting a live feed from a Bald Eagle nest in the Twin Cities metro area - the eggs were laid in mid-February. The diligent parents kept the eggs warm and dry throughout the polar vortex. Now the two baby eagles are thriving.

Twin Cities Metro Light Rail

The Metro Green Line begins service June 14, linking downtown St. Paul and downtown Minneapolis.  It has been a draw for both residential and commercial development: at least $2.5 billion worth of new construction and redevelopment projects have been announced within a half-mile of the line.  Read here for more information about riding the Green Line.

60,400 Jobs Available in MN

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development reported that state employers had 60,400 vacancies in the fourth quarter of 2013. That is the most openings in the fourth quarter for nine years.
