Do you still want pics to look like pics?

I'm sure that i'm not the first person to ask this question, but i've noticed alot of times, the PP goes a bit too much where a pic taken has been modified to look more like a painting...in other words, it doesn't look like a real pic or not very natural. Still very gorgeous and stunning though. I see this alot nowdays. How do you guys feel about this?
