The Kora Award and Channel O award-winning jazz instrumentalist, Kunle Ayo, who recently had his debut London concert, thrilled Londoners with his classic jazz music.
The event, which held on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Swanky under the Bridge music venue, Stamford Bridge, also featured guitarist Femi Temowo, Saxophonist Soweto Kinch and sultry singer Anastasia Baker.
The show was hosted by Black Grape Global’s Tokunbo Oyelola, and had in attendance DJAMEDIA’s Abass Tijani (DJ Abass), Dapo Oloja (Oloja.com) and Femtej’s Teju Ibukunoluwa.
Other guests included Princess Deun Adedoyin-Solarin, Shope Olajide, Wisetola, Feyisara, Goaty Media’s Mega-D, Ayo Shonaiya and Ike Onuorah.
Over the course of his career, Kunle Ayo has played for the likes of Kayode Olajide, Lagbaja and Ebenezer Obey. While in South Africa, he worked with Kirk Whalum, Jonathan Butler, Al Jarreau and the late Jate Khanyile and has produced five albums, with the sixth on the way.
