Influential London label Hyperdub turns ten years old in 2014. They're celebrating by releasing four compilation CDs collecting new and old material. The first compilation, Hyperdub 10.1, is out on May 19 internationally and May 20 in the U.S. and covers the label's dance music output. The double-disc set features new and old material from the likes of Burial, DJ Rashad, label founder Kode9, Cooly G, Ikonika, Mark Pritchard, Ill Blu, and many more.
They'll also be staging a number of events across Europe, which will rotate artists like Kode9, Laurel Halo, DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn, Ikonika, Cooly G, Fatima Al Qadiri, Ossie, and more. Those will be followed by shows in the United States. A preliminary list of events is here.
