By Carrie Battan on October 28, 2013 at 02:49 p.m.
Kanye West sat down for a long, impassioned chat with Los Angeles' Power 106 FM this morning. In addition to the subject matter we've heard a lot about in the last few months—the fashion industry, his unfulfilled creative vision, his role as an embattled outsider—Kanye offered up a nugget of information that'll make Yeezus fans very happy: He might release five outtakes from the album by the end of this year. Keep in mind that there were initially 16 songs on the album, per Rick Rubin.

A few months ago, Danny Brown took to Twitter to announce that his follow-up to last year's breakout XXX would be called, of all things, ODB. (For what it's worth, that stands for "Ol' Danny Brown", according to the man himself.) Late last week, an interview with FUSE circulated where Brown said that the record is "finished". As I learned from an interview earlier today with Brown (set to run in longer form in the near future), neither of those facts are necessarily true.
