Josh Elliott is leaving Good Morning America to join NBC Sports. Elliott, who was the morning show's news anchor, will be replaced by Amy Robach, ABC announced in a memo obtained by People. ABC News president Ben Sherwood spoke of the move in the memo to staff on Sunday night, confirming that he'd been in contract talks with Elliott for several months and while "we worked hard to close a significant gap between our generous offer and his expectations … Josh felt he deserved a different deal and so he chose a new path." "I think [that] the best format for this series is ultimately as a download or a DVD — a binge-watch," co-creator and executive producer Carter Bays tells TVGuide.com.

"I think we should've been on Netflix," co-creator and executive producer Craig Thomas quips. "Maybe people wouldn't have been as upset at us. We could've been the first House of Cards!"

Noah Successfully Threads the Cultural Needle

Midway through Noah, after most of humanity has been annihilated and the ark is floating lonely amidst the flood, the title character sits his children down and regales them with the story of Creation. Aronofsky pairs the overly-familiar Genesis passages with a whirlwind montage of time-lapse photography. Chaos begets a single See more »

The piece began badly by wrongly stating that the Mirror's 5m circulation in the 1960s was "more than all the other newspapers put together." How ridiculous.
