More Skin & Sleaze In New Pics From 'Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For'

13 hours ago | The Playlist | See recent The Playlist news »

Eva Green is certainly making an impression in 2014. She's already turning heads and wagging tongues thanks to a rather memorable sex scene in "300: Rise Of An Empire," and she looks ready to scare in Showtime's forthcoming series "Penny Dreadful." Additionally, at the end of the summer, she'll be vamping once again in "Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" as Ava Lord, and some new pics from the movie have arrived, highlighting her green eyes and much more of the cast. This new set of pics gives fresh looks at Ray Liotta (Joey), Jamie Chung (Miho), Jessica Alba (Nancy Callahan), Powers Boothe (Senator Roarke), Dennis Haysbert (Manute) and more. The movie, of course, is Robert Rodriguez's sequel to the hit "Sin City," and he doesn't look to be changing anything. If it ain't broke....you get the idea. But does this style still look fresh, or is it dated? »

Watch: Get On The Timeline With The Red Band Trailer For 'A Haunted House 2'

13 hours ago | The Playlist | See recent The Playlist news »

In case you're wondering who is responsible for "A Haunted House 2," well, everyone is. The cheap, $2.5-million horror spoof "A Haunted House," was dropped into the dumping ground of January last year, and the R-rated effort earned $40 million at the U.S. box office. That's just math you don't argue with. So a sequel has been made, and now the expectations have been slightly raised with a spring release date. But it looks like the budget—or lack of it—remains the same. A new red band trailer has arrived and it looks to be delivering everything that made the first movie, uh, "work." Yep, raunchy sex jokes, lots of Marlon Wayans screeching, (tired) parodies of horror tropes and, this time around, a social media timeline format for the promo for some reason. We guess whoever was cutting the trailer was having some fun. Odds are either you're one »

Josh Brolin Says 'Inherent Vice' Goes "In A Direction That The Book Doesn't Necessarily Go"

15 hours ago | The Playlist | See recent The Playlist news »

What do we know so far about "Inherent Vice"? Frankly, not a helluva lot outside of the fantastic ensemble cast and the return of Johnny Greenwood to the composer's podium. Even with a release date set for later this year, "Inherent Vice" was curiously absent in Warner Bros. presentation this week at CinemaCon (though we really don't see Paul Thomas Anderson being convinced by anybody to splice sizzle footage from his movie for an industry conference). But there has been one person talking loudly about the project: Josh Brolin. Last fall, the actor caught our attention by calling the shoot "great" and "absolute fucking chaos," and he's now offered up a few more tantalizing observations about the production on what kind of movie PTA may be delivering. Chatting recently with Ireland's Independent, Brolin once again made it sound like the shooting of the movie was unlike anything he's experienced. "I »
