Parents questioned by police after baby found abandoned in Harlem park  

The infant boy’s mother and father turned themselves in Monday after the 4-month-old was found by a Good Samaritan about 9 p.m. Sunday in Harlem’s Renaissance Playground.

The parents of a 4-month-old boy found abandoned in a Harlem park were being questioned at a police station Monday morning, cops said.

The father turned himself in around 10 a.m. and the mother at about 10:45, cops said. Their identities weren't immediately released.

The baby was left in a stroller in a playground Sunday night and was rescued by a Good Samaritan around 9 p.m.

Michael Allen, who lives near Renaissance Playground on W. 144th St. near Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd., spotted the baby from a window. He alerted firefighters at a firehouse across the street.

Police said the baby was in the custody of the city Administration for Children's Services.

The parents could face charges of reckless endangerment.
