Storyline
Much to Sheldon's chagrin, President Siebert orders him to take his mandatory vacation time immediately. Sheldon does whatever he can to pretend to take his vacation but still go to work. Since that doesn't work, he decides to do what he considers the next best thing: invade someone else's laboratory, namely Amy's. Amy welcomes him, but will Sheldon, who believes he's superior to everyone else regardless of the field of endeavor, be able to take a subservient role in his girlfriend's laboratory work? Meanwhile, Bernadette is worried that Howard won't take the news well that her father wants him to sign a prenuptial agreement since she makes more money than he does. Written by

Goofs
Sheldon says to Amy that "Einstein failed math". This a false myth, originated by a 1935 article published in the "Ripley's Believe It or Not" magazine and very well alive to this day.

CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #377 With Valentine's Day around the corner, I thought it might be nice to write a vanity card about the human heart - the organ from whence love comes. While cardiologists might see it as just a simple pumping mechanism, common wisdom knows better. The brain does not love. The longs do not love. The penis makes a lot of noise about love, but after intercourse its intentions are fairly obvious. In the end, we all know the truth. We've all experienced the truth. That swelling feeling in the chest is the universal sensation we have when the heart is expressing love. Conversely, that sinking feeling in the chest is the universal sensation we have when our love is not reciprocated. It is then that the heart is "broken." We are literally "heartsick" until we learn that our former paramour was inexplicably taken hostage by Somali pirates while dining at a neighborhood pizzeria. New we find "heartening."

In this ep of "The Big Bang Theory": Bernadette tells Amy and Penny about her father's insisting a pre-nup from Howard which Leonard finds out about from Penny before he tells Raj and Howard. And Sheldon finds out he has to take a vacation from the university president (Joshua Malina). So he goes to Amy's lab in another building to work there...This was another funny ep of "The Big Bang Theory" with Jim Parsons providing the highlights, as usual, although Howard and Raj also get some good lines, here and there. Oh, and here Amy does something to make Sheldon do something he's never done before: apologize! So on that note, "The Vacation Solution" was another fine ep of "The Big Bang Theory".
