Top 40 Lost Positives
I ended up with so many lost positives that I could have compiled a small dictionary of them. There are certainly enough to use in a story. Jack Winter has already done that: “How I Met My Wife“, brought to my attention by Toby Manhire.
I selected a Top 10 for The Independent on Sunday magazine last [...]

Ibet: Big guns Manchester City and Chelsea to show their firepower
Manchester City are not on a good run on the face of it. They’ve lost two in a row and were pretty awful for 65 minutes when getting dumped out of the FA Cup by Wigan. But although they lost to Barcelona in midweek, they played very well indeed in my opinion.

Her Outdoors: It’s all about the soil
When I started gardening seriously, about ten years ago, my main interest was growing great vegetables and flowers – mainly from seed, because it’s cheaper and, although more time-consuming, more rewarding. I spent ages on selecting varieties, on watering, on positioning, but ignoring the most important thing: the soil – just sowing straight into the [...]

Don’t mess with Ukip’s Patrick O’Flynn
Patrick O’Flynn, the former Daily Express journalist who now runs UKIP’s media operation believes in going for the jugular. As he defended Nigel Farage against the disgruntled former UKIP MEP Nikki Sinclaire, who has used parliamentary privilege to accuse the Ukip leader of a sexual peccadillo, the eagle-eyed O’Flynn spotted that one of BBC journalists [...]

Ghetts – A rebel against the mainstream, leading the culture.
In a world full of products it is hard to identify yourself. Ghetts has created a non-traditional product in a traditional format that explores a right of passage in a modern day cultural identity crisis.
