Vapor Valley Spirits Inc. has signed a lease with the National Park Service allowing the microbrewery company to operate at the Superior Bathhouse in Hot Springs National Park.
The lease allows Vapor Valley Spirits to have a brewery, operate a restaurant and a retail shop, and host tours, among other services. The park service announced the agreement in a Thursday statement.
“We are very excited about the possibilities and thrilled that another one of these beautiful buildings will be re-opening to serve visitors and offer a new experience in the park,” Park Superintendent Josie Fernandez said in the statement.
Vapor Valley submitted a proposal last summer to operate a brewery and restaurant, which the lease-signing authorized.
The park service said this is the third lease-signing at the Hot Springs National Park since 2007.
