Plays in the Park
The Bard is coming back to Redwood Park! Sky Clad Theater (a project of the Ink People) and the City of Arcata Recreation are happy to announce Plays in the Park. Get ready for two exciting plays, a blend of something old and something new.
As you like it:
A romantic comedy starring one of Shakespeare's strongest female characters unknowingly thrown into a test of her wits, affections, and gender.
Late: A Cowboy Song:
Sarah Ruhl's story of one woman's struggle to find meaning. Filled with music and theatricality, this show will engage the hearts and souls of all who struggle with difficult decisions.
The plays will run from August 1 to September 1, Friday and Saturday evenings with Sunday matinees. Auditions will be held April 6th at 2:00pm and April 7th at 7:00pm in the Redwood Lounge at Redwood Park. All community members, regardless of skill level are encouraged to come out and audition.
