Hoax calls

ActewAGL warns customers to be cautious of hoax telephone calls and emails.

If you are suspicious of a caller claiming to be from ActewAGL and asking for overdue bill payments by credit card – just hang up and call us on 13 14 93 so we can assist you.

These scams should be reported to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to ActewAGL by calling 13 14 93.

Customers concerned about these calls should contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission via the SCAMwatch website (www.scamwatch.gov.au) or by calling 1300 795 995.
